Barb Wade Coaching, LLC, is an expert coaching and training company that empowers high-achieving executive women and female founders to no longer settle for around-the-clock hours, poor boundaries, burnout, and self-sacrifice, but rather live vibrant, balanced lives with ample time and energy for relationships, health, personal priorities, and happiness.

Isn’t that what you’re working so hard for in the first place?

We know all too well the detriments of being in survival mode, with so many accomplishments to show for yourself, but underneath worrying about how long you can keep this up without crumbling. We can assure you there’s a better way – a better way to maintain or even increase your career success while living a vibrant and holistically balance life.

Our foundational program and paradigm is built upon 20 years of study and training in the best thought leadership from the human potential movement, neuroscience, soul-centered education, leadership development, holistic wellness, and positive psychology.

Our clients learn to say no, to say yes, to speak their truth, to claim their seat at the table, to be deeply present with loved ones without distraction, to prioritize their well-being (consistently and sustainably!), to no longer sublimate their needs, to stop worrying about what others think, to recommit to deeply-felt passions, to protect their right to recreation and downtime, and to continue to crush it in career by working smarter and not harder.

We offer courses, live trainings, and personal coaching to high-octane women from around the globe.

More about Barb...

Always a go-getter, upon finishing her studies from Tufts and Oxford Universities (summa cum laude), she did the crazy thing – went to Hollywood to pursue a childhood dream – and became an actress on a prime-time NBC Series. First job out of the gate.

More roles ensued, and then realizing the most impact and use of her brain would be behind the camera, Barb moved to a career as a studio executive, working for Paramount, Disney, and eventually running a division of the new movie studio, Dreamworks.

Wild success followed, as did depletion, burnout, and loss of personal time for priorities. Thus began Barb’s studies into human potential, thought leadership, and holistic wellness, getting a Masters in Spiritual Psychology, and working with extraordinary coaches, mentors, psychologists and transformational programs.

Barb Wade Coaching has just celebrated it’s 21st year, and we welcome any outreach for even an exploratory conversation about how you can maintain success without sacrifice.

Fun Facts

  • I still get residuals from television and movie work from 30 years ago, typically the checks are about 37 cents (I try not to spend it all in one place).
  • I have one kiddo on the Autism Spectrum and one who is Transgender and they are both super-freaking-awesome.
  • I was one of the first several executives hired for the “new” Movie Studio DreamWorks in 1995, and worked directly with Spielberg often (still have several audio-tapes because he was a fast talker!).
  • I can still recite the entire, 3-minute safety script from when I was a roller-coaster operator at Six Flags Great America, "Please hold on to hats, glasses, and cameras, and keep your hands inside the ride at all times." (I'd like that brain space back).
  • I have a proclivity for a math game called "Krypto" where I can do lightning fast calculations in my head. Nobody yet will pay me for this.
  • My family says I’m “therm-erratic.” Meaning I’m hot-flashing in winter, and in the summer heat I’m the one saying “hand me that blanket” (to many eye rolls).
  • I’m a living example of a high-octane life, with a super-full plate, where I constantly “keep myself honest” by challenging my thoughts, narratives and world view, and employ the same transformative tools I teach to navigate success without sacrifice.
  • I fiercely and deeply love my clients. Real love. I see your beauty, your vulnerability, and your humanity. And I celebrate you.
